Each year the Chrysler And Valiant Owners Association host the Darling Harbour Display Day, and whilst the number of cars was down on previous years, there was still a good roll up of quality Chryslers for the general public to take a look at.
You'll be proud and happy to know that your mighty R&S Club was represented by 4 members (disgraceful if you ask me, but I'm trying to remain positive). It's funny then that only 2 of the cars were from 1962......that's right, John putted along in his new AP5, and Paul in his Grand Dads Chrysler Galant. I'm still shaking my head. Myself and Paul Hughes flew the flag.
In any case, here's some pictures from the day for you to look at. Incidentally, Paul and I looked at all the cars in about 5 minutes, and then decided to go for a walk- along the shoreline all the bloody way to "Harry's Cafe De Wheels" at Woloomooloo.....for those that don't know, it's a bloody long way, and we didn't cheat by going cross country either. Yes it took us all day, but what the hell......
Oh, and Dave Smith turned up to laugh at all us wombats out in the sun all day.
